MINING
Area of Operation: Kadoma and Chegutu Zimbabwe
1. Project Reports compiled by Geologists S. Shoko for both areas are now in place.
2. Database for small scale miners in need of aid has been fully compiled
3. Video clips and footages with indications and highlights on topical issues affecting small scale mining projects have been produced and are available from FLHF to prospective donors and investors free of charge on request in advance from the FLHF HQ.
4. FLHF has been granted written authority to carry on its activities i.e interfacing the donor community and investors with the beneficiaries(documentation available upon request) we shall attach a very big list of our new members in small scale mining ventures
AGRICULTURE
Area of Operation : Msengezi, Chegutu Zimbabwe
1. Database of eight irrigation schemes located along the great Mupfure river in the area has been compiled .
2. Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Agriculture and Farm Mechanization is still in progress and awaiting Ministry approval.
3. Video clips for the irrigation schemes are available for distribution to prospective donors and investors upon request from FLHF
4. Resuscitation of the irrigation infrastructure and technology transfer are on demand
HOUSING
Area of Operation: Chegutu and Hatcliffe Harare Zimbabwe
1. Chegutu's Kaguvi Phase III-the allocation of stands has been done on unserviced land due to financial constraints. Residents are therefore calling for donor assistance.
2. Names of cooperatives registered on the Trust database include; Ushowekunze, Witness Rukarwa, OK and T.M and shelter Housing Cooperatives...(Database available from FLHF upon request) Chegutu Municipality is offering free land to those who want to develop the town
3. Hatcliffe Harare-Most of the unemployed and impoverished beneficiaries are failing to complete their construction projects due to financial constraints. |
